A bank which provides banking, insurance, investments, mortgage, and commercial financial services through 980 branches, 2,100 ATMs, and a variety of online and mobile services is seeking to hire a Full-time Universal Banker for a branch location in Downtown Baltimore. Universal Bankers are the adaptable problem solvers. You will be an important member of our team as we build relationships with customers, process their transactions, and help them understand products and services available to them. We will provide you with all the training skills needed to be successful.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome all bank visitors with a warm and friendly smile
• Listen to customers and understand their needs
• Educate customers so they understand the products and services available to them, making recommendations when appropriate
• Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions
• Work closely with Bank Business partners, when necessary, to ensure all needs are met
• Call existing customers to retain and expand relationships
• Support a diverse environment that supports the Bank brand
• Complete required training under the Federal SAFE Act

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum 1 year experience in any of the following: retail, customer service, tele-sales, or call center

Education and Experience Preferred:

• Professional communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Retail customer services skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Technology savvy
• Demonstrated success with cross-selling and referring products and services
• Bilingual ability is not required but is a strong plus depending on location

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting objects up to 30lbs

Branch Hours/Required Availability:

Infrequent Saturdays (9:00am-1:00pm) may occasionally be required as needed to assist nearby locations.*

• Monday-Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm
• Saturday: Closed*
• Sunday: Closed

Pay: $21.00 per hour + commission + $1,000 sign on bonus

Schedule: Full-time
