Technical Trainer-HYBRID-FT

A local family owned and operated financial institution, is seeking to hire a Technical Trainer to join its team and be responsible for the effective design, development, coordination, and presentation of systems application training programs for all Bank associates. Candidates must be available to work at the Bank’s Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, 40 hours per week. Some remote work may be possible from time to time, as job responsibilities allow.

Responsibilities:

  • Design/develop comprehensive training programs for individuals and user groups.
  • Conduct engaging and informative training sessions using a variety of delivery methods, including instructor-led classroom training, virtual training, workshops, and webinars.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts from all business functions to ensure that training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the Bank’s goals.
  • Serve as a technical resource for trainees, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, instructional design, or other related field; a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in a related area may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience as a designer/developer and facilitator of training programs focused on systems applications, a comprehensive understanding of relevant technical domains, such as information technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud computing.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience with learning management systems, multimedia authoring tools, e-learning software, and other applicable training design applications.
  • Advanced proficiency with the entire Microsoft 365 Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint, and a passion for teaching and mentoring others.
