Are you passionate about finding solutions for customers? A bank which provides banking, insurance, investments, mortgage, and commercial financial services through 980 branches, 2,100 ATMs, and a variety of online and mobile services is seeking to hire a Full-time Relationship Banker for a branch location in Roland Park in Baltimore. Relationship Bankers go the extra mile to drive the branch team toward success in their sales and service goals. You’ll build customer relationships and grow business in the branch by identifying sales opportunities with customers and guiding them toward options that fit their needs. You’ll also stay on top of the most recent trends in our products and systems to become an expert in servicing our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Build trust with current clients through regular proactive outreach by email or phone
- Develop new customer relationships through outbound calling
- Support branch goals by identifying sales, service, and referral opportunities
- Complete basic customer research to recommend new solutions and drive informed discussions of customers’ financial goals
- Schedule, prepare for, and lead appointments with current and prospective customers
- Deliver customer solutions in the moments that matter
- Educate customers so they understand their options, making recommendations when appropriate
- Identify Bank team members who can solve complex customer problems
- Support operational needs such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfer, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud prevention, and compliance-related tasks
- Support a diverse environment that supports the Bank brand
- Complete required training under the Federal SAFE Act
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in any of the following: retail sales, call center, tele-sales, or customer service, OR
- Minimum of 1 year proven proactive sales experience
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Demonstrated financial services product knowledge
- Ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy to internal and external customers
- Verbal communication, interpersonal skills, customer service (consumer and small-business), well-organized, time management, prioritization, comfort with technology (internet-user level)
- Demonstrated success with referrals, cross-selling, or other sales skills
- Associate degree
- Notary public license
- Bilingual ability is not required but is a strong plus depending on location

- Lifting objects up to 30lbs
Branch Hours/Required Availability:
- Monday-Thursday: 9:00am-5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am-1:00pm (every other Saturday is required)
- Sunday: Closed
Pay: $23.00/hour + commission
Schedule: Full-time
