Real Estate Financial Coordinator

A hospital that is part of the largest and most comprehensive providers of health-related services to the people of Greater Baltimore region, is seeking to hire a Full-time Real Estate Financial Coordinator to join its corporate division.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial oversight of a portfolio of leased and owned office properties
  • Oversee property related GL accounts. Perform month-end closing procedures
  • Produce and review financial reports
  • Build and analyze budgets
  • Analyze rent and operating expense
  • Perform property relating bookkeeping
  • Work with A/P Finance on property related accounts payable
  • Manage property related accounts receivable

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge; Equivalent to an Associate’s degree (2 years college); Requires knowledge of a specialized field; 3-5 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) with proper application within the property management and real estate industries
  • Expertise with common technical accounting skills and concepts, including but not limited to: journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger analysis, accrual basis, cash basis, operating and capital expenditures
