Project Management Associate

A real estate investment and management company headquartered in Baltimore, is seeking a Full-time Project Management Associate to support the efforts of the Investments and Construction Management Platform. This individual will be a key member of the team and report to the Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Support the Senior Project Manager and Investments Teams in determining scope of assigned projects including project labor, materials, timing and specifications
  • Evaluate construction methods and provide recommendations to determine cost-effectiveness of plans
  • Assist in the procurement of bids from trades and suppliers for all project activities
  • Lead in the procurement of invoicing from all trades in a timely and organized manner
  • Monitor and assist in the oversight of the Projects, sub-contractors, etc. both in the office as well as on the job site

Investments / Asset Management

  • Track and audit project costs (budget v. actual) on a recurring basis
  • Present findings, recommendations to Internal and External parties
  • Create and track project timeline with Gannt or similar chart/methodology identifying critical paths
  • Work in tandem with Finance/Accounting department in preparing and submitting Construction Draw packages to be submitted to Bank/Lender as well as Equity Partners
  • Ad-hoc project analysis will be required
  • Ad-hoc assistance of the Investments Team in acquisition due diligence and on-boarding

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask
  • Travel, including out-of-state, will be required
