Payroll Operational Specialist-HYBRID POSITION

A hospital that is part of the largest and most comprehensive providers of health-related services to the people of Greater Baltimore region, is seeking to hire a Full-time Payroll Operational Specialist to join its Timonium location in a hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will serve as a floater position for operational tasks.
  • In addition, they will be responsible for the creation, review and execution of processing audit reports to ensure accuracy of payroll.
  • They will be developing key metrics reporting models that will be used by Senior Level Management to evaluate system performance related to time entry, late input, incorrect input etc.
  • They will also serve as the operational SME related to mergers, divestitures and acquisitions.
  • They will partner with the Supervisor to train staff on functional payroll tasks and regulatory updates and compliance issues.
  • Lastly, this role will develop SOP’s that will be used for promote consistency and accountability within payroll.

Requirements:

  • Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills;
  • High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
  • 5-7 years experience

Pay: DOE

Schedule:  Full-time; Hybrid/Remote; 8 AM- 4:30 PM; Some in person work required.
