A hospital that is part of the largest and most comprehensive health care providers in Maryland, is seeking to hire a Full-time Medical Recovery Specialist for its facility in Owings Mills.

*MEDICAL FOLLOW UP REMOTE POSITION*

*MUST HAVE MEDICAL FOLLOW UP CLAIMS EXPERIENCE*

Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Billing and Collection Manager, the Recovery Specialist I is responsible for the timely submission of technical and professional medical claims to third party payers.
• Under minimal supervision, follows up on all third-party insurance and self-pay accounts.
• Follow up on MEDICAL CLAIMS that have no activity and follow procedures on claims for government payers-Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and MCO payers

Requirements:

• Entry level knowledge; Basic employment skills
• High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate
• 1-3 years of AR experience with MEDICAL CLAIMS
• MUST HAVE MEDICAL FOLLOW UP CLAIMS EXPERIENCE
