Medical Customer Service Representative Call Center-HYBRID-FT

A hospital that is part of the largest and most comprehensive health care providers in Maryland, is seeking to hire a Full-time Medical Customer Service Representative Call Center to work for one of its corporate offices in Baltimore City.

POTENTIAL FOR HYBRID REMOTE AFTER 6 MONTHS!!

Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, assists customers with inquiries regarding accounts, billing, insurance information, budget plans, and reimbursements
  • Resolves these concerns in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines for the health care providers

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate’s degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
  • EXPERIENCE WITH MEDICAL BILLING REQUIRED
  • Experience with Cerner and IDX professional billing system preferred
  • 1-3 yrs. call center experience
  • Prefer experience working with hospital and professional billing

Pay: DOE

Benefits: Benefit package included

Schedule: Full-time; 8:30am- 5:00 pm; Hybrid potential after 6 months.
