Marketing Assistant-FT

A fast-growing, full-service print, design, and marketing company located in the Baltimore metro area is seeking to hire a Marketing Assistant who will play a key role in growing the business through its marketing, brand building, and sales support objectives. This role will be multifaceted and requires a candidate with a specific skill set.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing & Sales Support

  • Assist with providing the sales teams with innovative marketing tools to improve and increase touch points with customers.
  • Help produce marketing collateral for the brand.
  • Manage company store including appearance, inventory, orders, and organizational initiatives.
  • Work with marketing team to fulfill client and prospect gifts.
  • Manage customer survey process.
  • Assist with design for basic company needs.
  • Support marketing, communication, and execution for internal culture initiatives.
  • Assist with capturing photo and video content for social media and other channels.
  • Various administrative duties

Events & Sponsorships

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Company and be present at organization and partner events, including those in the evenings and on weekends.
  • Coordinate internal events, including scheduling, communication with registrants/attendees, and presentation management.
  • Work closely with entire marketing department, and others company-wide, to ensure every visitor to Company events receives the best customer experience.
  • Arrange meeting spaces, including goodie bags, pens, notepads, and other marketing materials such as posters, event signage, and more.
  • Assist sales to create a VIP experience for every guest.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BA degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting a marketing department through various initiatives including creation of collateral, social media, and event support.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Creative Suite proficiency preferred.
  • Self-Starter with a high level of organization
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and be open to feedback.
  • Ability to be flexible, patient, and adapt quickly to changing environments.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to form and maintain relationships with colleagues and associates.
  • Detail-Oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as dictated by event schedule.
