HR/Finance Assistant-REMOTE POSITION

A small HubZone certified business with offices in Maryland, which specializes in unexploded ordnance (UXO), military munitions response, and counter improvised explosive devices (IEDs), is seeking to hire a Part-time HR/Finance Assistant to work in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Payroll
  • Schedule travel and meeting arrangements
  • Arrange reports
  • Correspondence with internal staff, clients, and vendors – Personnel file maintenance experience highly preferred
  • Meeting coordination and planning experience preferred
  • Administrative activities to help build proposals
  • Track proposal calendars/deadlines, assist in the scheduling and coordination of document reviews
  • Coordinate, schedule meetings and conference calls
  • Assist in new hires, assist HR manager and AP Manager
  • Track projects, assemble daily reports, timesheets coordinator

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of customer service
  • Knowledge of calendar managements and scheduling appointments
  • Solid understanding of expense reports
  • Outstanding organizational skills, ability to multitask, an eye for detail
  • Associate Degree is preferred
  • Three years of HR experience preferred
  • Four years of Microsoft Office experience preferred

Pay:  $25.00/hour

Schedule: Part-time; 20 hours/week
