Help Desk Associate

A large nonprofit which works to enhance Jewish life and addresses charitable, educational, religious, humanitarian, health, cultural and social service needs of the Jewish community locally, nationally, in Israel and throughout the world, is looking for a customer service-oriented Full-time Help Desk Associate to join our IT Team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the company and its system-agencies.


  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance
  • Perform troubleshooting and determine the best solution
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Record events, issues, and their resolution in a ticketing system
  • Monitor equipment inventory and prepare equipment for distribution to users
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements
  • Support the department with organizational project and initiatives

  • You understand technical issues and can explain its solution to non-technical end users
  • You are not only around to resolve issues, but also provide an amazing customer experience


  • One to three years’ experience providing technical troubleshooting or proven technical ability
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, PC repair and general network management
  • Effective time management including ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize
  • Experience in Office 365 administration
  • Remote support experience
  • Understanding of information security within systems
  • Strong drive to provide excellent customer service
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work primary on-site during normal business hours with on-call availability

Pay:  DOE; Range starts at $45,900- $50,000/year
