Food Utility Workers

An Assisted Living Facility in Owings Mills has an immediate need for FOOD UTILITY HELPERS.

 

Position Summary:

 

Performs a variety of duties related to food service and sanitation in a timely and efficient manner including but not limited to; greeting and serving customers, stocking counters and serving areas, preparing and replenishing beverages and food items, washing and storing properly all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, pots and pans. Filling soda machines with ice.

 

Maintains workstation, other food service areas and equipment to meet cleanliness and food safety standards. Assist with preparation of items used in recipes. Assist others as directed. Must be able to effectively communicate (written and spoken) directly with other employees and staff members in a pleasant and professional manner. May be assigned to various or specifics areas based on operational needs.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Must have a High School diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively. Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours. Must have the ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 40 pounds in weight. Must be able to walk, and bend.  Must be able to stand for up to four (4) hours at a time.

 

Must be able to listen attentively and comprehend verbal instructions. Must be able to work when exposed to wet floors, temperature extremes and loud noise. Must be able to work independently with the appropriate amount of supervision.

 

Must be covid vaccinated.

 

Pay:  $12.50/hr. (potential for higher with experience)

Schedule:   Part time flexible schedule available – optimum hours 3:30 – 7:30 pm. Also, weekends available.
