Data Entry Coordinator-FT

A full-service staffing company is assisting a government client in Towson with hiring a Data Entry Coordinator, six-month contract positions with possible extension or contract to hire consideration. The Data Entry Coordinator will assist with data fixes in the CityWorks and OnBase systems.

Essential Duties:

  • Update Contractor and License information.
  • Check address and owner information on all pending and incoming application and update as needed.
  • Adding the GIS report to the permit application.
  • Add required inspection to workflow on all pending and incoming New Commercial and New Residential applications.
  • Review all pending and incoming Residential Addition/Alteration applications and update the Tag when the work is alteration only and mark any that are emergencies.
  • Review all incoming Plumbing applications to identify which ones are Emergencies and tab them so that they can be processed the same day by the staff.
  • Adding Environmental Health in the review and inspection on all Tent applications until this is automatically added to the workflow.
  • Evaluating all applications that do not have any documents.
  • Removing all canceled application out of OnBase workflow.
  • Check applications for missing intake and Fees Paid task in the workflow.


  • Must have at least three years of data entry and office experience.
  • Must type at least 50 wpm along with proficient Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Must have good analytical skills along with a good understanding of GIS to help address issues.
  • Must be able to work from 8:30 am-4:30 pm Monday through Friday with a 30–60-minute nonpaid lunch.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Pay: $16.25/hour.
