Credit Team Lead

A hospital that is part of the largest and most comprehensive providers of health-related services to the people of Greater Baltimore region, is seeking to hire a Full-time Credit Team Lead to join its team at a Reisterstown facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for functional supervision of the staff to ensure quality and accurate completion of assigned work in cash receipts, payment posting, cash reconciliation and credit balance resolution
  • Additional responsibilities include general ledger receipts and reconciliation, inter-company transfers, maintenance of 835/remittance processing and scanning/indexing/document imaging and monitoring and achieving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals established for the Treasury Team
  • This position requires the ongoing ability to evaluate current processes, distinguish needed changes, and recommend or implement appropriate modifications to improve performance by using root-cause analysis and sets context in the communication of findings

Requirements:

  • Education/knowledge: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associates’ degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in A/R and medical billing
