Contact Center Agent I

A hospital that is part of the largest and most comprehensive providers of health-related services to the people of Greater Baltimore region, is seeking to hire a Full-time Contact Center Agent I to join its new Contact Center.


  • Uses protocols, guidelines and appropriate software programs to handle customer requests coming into the Contact Center by phone, EMR portal, website or other methods
  • Primarily handles requests in support of specific provider practices, departments or other services; Requests include appointments, prescription refills, or other provider practice associated activity including pre-authorization and referral follow up
  • Works in partnership with other staff members and proactively identifies and responds to customer’s needs to enhance the customer experience


  • Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate’s degree (2 years college)
  • Requires knowledge of a specialized field
  • 1-3 years of experience
