A local, online counseling organization — is seeking a Compliance Specialist.

 

 

Responsibilities
Seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Compliance Specialist role. The Compliance Specialist’s job is to ensure that Global Teletherapy is compliant with all state and school regulations and to enable a smooth onboarding experience related to documentation submission. Compliance Specialist is responsible for reviewing and filing therapist documentation and updating the systems in a timely and accurate manner.

Compliance Specialist would provide therapists with guidance regarding errors with documentation based on an understanding of the credential requirements. This position requires effective communication via email and collaboration with internal staff for optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate is proactive, innovative, and detail oriented with experience communicating with clients in a professional environment. This position may be completed remotely or in our Pikesville office. If working remotely, the work environment must be quiet and professional.

Job Description:
Collect and maintain all therapist documentation for positions as required by company policy, federal, or state regulation within a timely manner.
File documentation in accordance with department protocol.
Utilize online database to track credentials and expiration dates accurately.
Prioritize and expedite task completion for urgent therapists in communication with the Onboarding Specialist.
Collaborate with Onboarding and Compliance Specialists to clarify potential issues with documents submitted.
Communicate with management regarding barriers to timely processing of documentation.

Requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Enthusiastic, strong work ethic, and responsible.
Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detailed oriented
Innovative and able to problem solve.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs/Google Drive
Education/Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a professional work environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.

 

 

  • Pay:  $15-17/hr. 
  • Schedule: Part time, 20 hours per week
  • Benefits: health insurance, including medical, dental, ST, LT, life insurance and paid time off.
