A dynamic CPA and consulting firm, committed to a culture of excellence, offering accounting & finance, audit, income tax, risk/IT risk advisory, state & local tax, managed IT, and other services, is seeking a Business Transformation Manager to join its Workiva Implementation Services Team. There is an opportunity for a highly organized team player who wants to positively impact colleagues, clients and ultimately the bottom line, by driving efficiencies, improving the client experience, reducing the overall time, and decreasing project execution costs. Our firm is headquartered in Owings Mills, Maryland, however, this position is fully remote. Candidates will be expected to participate in meetings between 9am and 5pm Eastern Time. Business Transformation Managers oversee delivery of transformation projects to include documenting current state and requirements, designing solutions, developing project plans, coordinating client acceptance testing, and enabling clients to use developed solutions. These Managers also conduct day-to-day project management activities on all their engagements including project plan development, status update deliveries to clients & internal leaders, and training & mentoring of Staff and Senior Consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Gaining an understanding of assigned client’s objectives and reporting requirements, as well as their regulatory and risk management environment, as it relates to the transformation (Workiva implementation) project
- Working closely with assigned clients to understand their reporting needs, process requirements, and assist them in any part of their implementation process
- Creating complex reporting for clients in the Workiva platform using strong financial modeling knowledge and skills
- Communicating extensively with clients to drive expectations and report on the status of ongoing projects
- Setting priorities, ensuring daily coordination among the project team, and monitoring progress against schedules, budgets, project/task deliverables and status reporting
- Managing and motivating teams of consultants with various backgrounds and skill sets
- Maintaining the level of technical competency and professional care required for the completion of assignments
- Obtaining and analyzing data as a basis for reviewing the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of systems and processes
- Assisting client adoption of the Workiva platform, with capabilities aligned to their business strategies and goals
- Assessing and improving financial accounting close processes to include streamlining monthly and quarterly reporting processes
- Presenting project plan, project results, and recommendations to executive leadership
- Providing exceptional service to clients, always serving as a positive brand ambassador for Clearview
- Strengthening and maintaining a network of industry contacts and establishing new long-term relationships
- Contributing to business development activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible Accounting or Finance experience
- Significant experience in Financial Reporting in any one of the following: FP&A, Management Reporting, Operational Reporting, SEC Reporting, GSR Reporting, ESG Reporting, Private Reporting
- 1 year of commercial client consulting experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex financial modeling in Excel
- Proficiency in Word documents and power point presentations
- Experience using ERP, CPM, GL, or other reporting systems to pull financial data
- In-depth current knowledge of U.S. GAAP and AICPA standards
- Project management experience including workflow balancing, activity scheduling, problem solving facilitation, prioritizing multiple complex tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Unwavering integrity and ethics

- Demonstrable examples of innovative thinking and problem solving
- High level of motivation, organization, and commitment to professional development
