A dynamic CPA and consulting firm is seeking a Full-time Analyst that will be a key member supporting our IB Practice and working on multiple client engagements. This position will involve performing detailed financial analysis and monitoring investments and market trends. This position will report to the Managing Director and work closely with leadership and stakeholders, requiring the individual in this role to be highly collaborative and accountable. While regular remote work is permitted, this person will need to be willing and able to be onsite for visits to our office in Owings Mills and participate in meetings in-person as deemed appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow, comprehensive pro forma, trading comparables, transaction comparable and leveraged buyout (LBO).
- Preparing market analyses and presentations for internal and external use to drive decisions.
- Supporting projects by assisting with client communications, deal team coordination, tracking progress, etc.
- Conducting comprehensive industry and product research, and proactively monitoring current event and market trends.
- Assisting with ad hoc requests from leadership, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Advance skills in Microsoft Suite products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Broad knowledge of M&A and investment transactions and processes
- Proficiency in accounting and financial modeling
- Experience with CapIQ
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and function in a team environment by effectively sharing information
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment
