Administrative Assistant-Technology-FT

A dynamic CPA and consulting firm is seeking a Full-time Administrative Assistant to join its Technology Practice, which is highly focused on delivering an exceptional service experience with a people first attitude to all our team members and clientele. The firm is headquartered in Owings Mills, Maryland, and while there may be flexibility to work remotely on occasion, this new hire must be able to work on site. This position requires a tenacious self-starter who can anticipate the needs of the team, taking initiative to solve problems independently as well as working collaboratively with the other administrative assistants at the firm. Responsibilities:

  • Providing day to day administrative support to the practice leader and practice
  • Scheduling engagements, and work with the practice to schedule out engagements in line with client needs and team availability as needed
  • Maintaining the client list and status of engagement letters
  • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements and implement
  • Organize, plan and schedule internal and external meetings
  • Support the practice leader, always acting as a positive brand ambassador for firm
  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service interactions and consistent quality output
  • Ability to function in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
  • Work on ad hoc administrative tasks and objectives to support the practice at the direction of the practice leader
  • Work within various teams to support practice objectives
  • Be a generally helpful person

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (but not necessary)
  • Prior administrative experience (1+ years)
  • Technically capable with computers, digital concepts, media, social, etc.
  • Prior service industry (ex: food, retail, hospitality) (2+years)
