A nonprofit organization that provides an innovative, Jewish values-based education to over 40,000 children in Israel each year, is seeking to hire a Part-time Administrative Assistant to work in a remote capacity. The administrative assistant will have significant interaction with lay leadership and must provide full administrative support for the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send thank you letters
- Daily correspondence via phone calls or emails
- Prepare certificates, greeting cards, and database entries
- Manage special projects on behalf of the organization
- Coordinate travel, scheduling meetings and conference calls
- Handle monies, invoices, and receipts
- Complete mailings through mail merge and manage mailing event invitations
- Responsible for event registrations, live event management, and support
Requirements:
- Be willing to work from the comforts of their own home, preferably located in the Baltimore region
- Must have good communication skills, possess strong work ethic, and be a self-starter with a high level of professionalism
- Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, able to effectively multi-task, have a positive “can do” attitude, be a problem solver, and pro-active
- Recognize and set priorities and understand “the sense of urgency”
- Excellent computer skills that include full working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Word/Outlook/Excel and Power Point. Experience using Raiser’s Edge NXT is a plus
Pay: $25.00/hour
