A non-profit human service organization is seeking an Account Representative to join its team and help make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by connecting them with meaningful career opportunities. As an Account Representative, you’ll play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with local and national employers and creating pathways to employment for our community members.
Responsibilities:
- Build Lasting Connections: Develop and nurture relationships with businesses and organizations, expanding employment and networking options for JCS clients.
- Employer Engagement: Recruit and engage with new employers, gaining insights into their needs through facility tours.
- Job Listing Management: Create and maintain accurate job orders, ensuring timely responses to job leads.
- Networking Pro: Identify and participate in relevant career fairs and networking events.
- Advocate for Inclusion: Be an advocate for individuals with diverse abilities, making sure everyone has a fair chance.
- Matchmaker Extraordinaire: Present qualified applicants (our clients) to employers, aiming for in-person or virtual interviews and successful client hires.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two to three years in related fields such as HR, Sales, or Human Services.
- Demonstrate impeccable and professional customer service skills with outstanding follow-up abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Baltimore business community.
- The ability to cultivate relationships with decision-makers in various Baltimore and national organizations.
- Familiarity with Jewish customs and cultures is a valuable asset.
- Comfortable working with MS Word, Excel, and in-house databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
