Office Clerk

A staffing company has an opening for an Office Clerk, for a government agency in Towson.

The Office Clerk will provide data entry and customer service support. This is a Summer employment opportunity with possible extension.

Essential Duties: 

  • Answer incoming calls and make outbound inquiries.   Direct calls appropriately.
  • Enter housing information into the database.
  • Type memos and correspondence.
  • Separate and distribute mail to appropriate personnel.   Assure outgoing mail is sent on time with appropriate mail requirements.
  • Attend office meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must have good customer service skills and basic office experience.
  • Must Type at least 35 wpm accurately.
  • Must be able to work from.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

       Pay:  $12/hr.

       Health Benefits: Yes

             Schedule: 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday with a 30 minute non-paid lunch
