It is well documented that an inability to openly discuss unconscious bias and stereotypes in the workplace leads to challenges in recruitment and retention and undermines employee engagement.
This workshop will expand upon the conversations that began in the initial session of this series offering employers an opportunity to deepen their exploration into how implicit bias and microaggressions affect workplace culture and morale.
Drawing from Project Ready curriculum, this workshop will:
- Define implicit bias and microaggression and give examples of these concepts in action.
- Describe how implicit biases are formed and their impact on others.
- Allow participants to examine their personal biases and the affect they may have.
Participation in the previous session is not necessary to benefit from this program.
Attendance is Free
